Our practice is lead by Principal Andrew Hynson. Andrew is a strategy and program consultant with deep experience in both developing strategy and delivering highly complex, challenging projects using analytically backed innovative approaches. He combines cutting edge design and industrial thinking with detailed analysis to find competitive advantage for your organisation.
He has worked in Australia and Europe in a wide range of roles in the fields of product development, manufacturing and business consulting and has significant experience in developing and implementing strategic plans at a range of scales – from multi billion dollar corporations to small business units.
Andrew previously held a number of executive positions at General Motors Holden, including:
- Chief Engineer, where he lead the Holden Monaro program using innovative breakthrough thinking to cut the development time in half and the cost by three quarters.
- Program Manager New Vehicle Investment, where he lead the development and approval of a clean sheet vehicle architecture including investment approval of $1.2B.
- Engineering Director.
Andrew also lead Prodrive Automotive Technology Australia, a business unit of the privately held English company, Prodrive.
